Since 2006, Andy has dedicated his career to connecting youth and local communities with the natural world around them, promoting environmental stewardship and advocating for access and equity.

Samantha Lindgren is an assistant professor in the department of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership in the College of Education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

I am the Adopt-A-Stream Director for the state of Mississippi. I am also the Chairman for the MS Environmental Education Alliance (MEEA)

Having a passion for conservation, education, and entrepreneurial leadership, I consider my superpower to be championing great causes through relationship building and fundraising via grants. I thrive on the art of grant writing and the attention to detail the start to finish process demands from grant preparedness, grant writing, and budget prep. I especially enjoy working with non-profit leaders to synthesize their ideas and visions into written words and develop grant ready content to establish more sustainable internal operations and, in turn, secure more funding.

 

Katie has been active in the field of environmental education for 20 years. As the executive director of the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education, she leads environmental literacy planning and implementation efforts and is active both locally and nationally.
