I am an educator with 23 years of teaching experience, embracing student-centered and innovative learning approaches. Building upon my background in classroom teaching, I conduct research in STEM education, water literacy, interdisciplinary learning, and pedagogical content development. As a Scientix Turkey Ambassador, I actively participate in national and international projects, prioritizing the integration of classroom experiences with digital education applications. As an educator with 23 years of teaching experience, I have focused my work on STEM education, water literacy, interdisciplinary learning, science-based content development, and pedagogical content design, all based on my foundation in classroom teaching. Thanks to my experience in active teaching practice in Turkey, I possess strong expertise in developing explanations appropriate to students' age and developmental levels, identifying misconceptions, structuring instructional flow, and evaluating content for curriculum compliance. As a Scientix Turkey Ambassador, I actively participate in national and international educational networks; developing projects that combine my classroom practices with digital learning, sustainability, and innovative teaching approaches.
My work includes classroom applications published within the scope of the STEM Discovery Campaign, examples of environmental and sustainability-themed projects, lesson applications developed with Scientix resources, and digital content based on student products. My projects include “STEM DAYS”, “STEM Activities with Scientix Resources”, “My Green Energy Source”, “Let’s make our school a Growing Place!”, and “Step by Step to Solution with STEM”. This reflects my approach to producing application-based, student-centered, and replicable content. These works showcase my skills in both instructional design and content development and feedback.
I have also achieved various awards and visibility on international education platforms. On the 2024 Scientix Awards page, my name is listed as a winner in the Terra Mission Award, Bioeconomy Award, Digital Cultural Heritage Award, and Skills for Innovation Educator Award categories; and on the 2025 Scientix Awards page, I am listed as a runner-up in two separate categories. These experiences demonstrate that I am not just a teacher who implements classroom practices; I am also an educator who produces, documents, and shares high-quality educational content on an international scale.
