I design, implement, and evaluate the “Formación para la Sostenibilidad” program at CICEANA, which promotes critical reflection on diverse sustainability issues in schools across different states in Mexico. In this role, I develop educational narratives and facilitate learning processes that connect theory with practice. I also support the “Escuelas Sustentables” program, where I contribute to the implementation of ecotechnologies in Mexico City.
My undergraduate thesis project focused on designing a theory of change to strengthen bird monitoring across 25 communities and to foster community-driven projects based on citizen science inthe Yucatan's Peninsula. Additionally, I have collaborated with Amigos de Sian Ka’an and Natura A.C., contributing to environmental education, community-based water quality monitoring, water governance, and forest cover monitoring, through participatory approaches.
