I am an environmental engineer with a passion for sustainability, composting, and environmental education. My work spans research, fieldwork, and community outreach, including designing compost systems, conducting water quality assessments, and tutoring students in STEM. I aim to connect science with action, inspiring others to live in balance with nature. I believe environmental education is a bridge between awareness and real-world solutions.

I’m an environmental engineer committed to advancing sustainability through both hands-on projects and public education. My experience includes leading composting initiatives—from designing industrial-sized tumbler bins to implementing dining hall food waste programs—and conducting water quality research to improve environmental health. I have worked with GIS, water quality testing, and community engagement to connect science with meaningful change.
Alongside my engineering work, I tutor students in science, math, and Spanish, weaving environmental concepts into lessons when possible. I’m especially inspired by projects that merge ecological principles with cultural heritage, such as exploring sustainable systems in Puerto Rico.
My goal is to empower individuals and communities to see themselves as stewards of the environment and to take practical steps toward a more sustainable future.
