Hi! My name is Beth Lewis (she/her). Here's a little bit about me.

I am a lover of the outdoors, astrology, rock climbing, and the culture of Appalachia. A transplant to Pittsburgh, I grew up in a small town in western North Carolina. You will find me hiking, practicing yoga, or climbing with my girlfriend, annoying our cats, listening to Brandi Carlisle, or searching the city for southern home cooking cuisine.

I am the General Manager of the GNC flagship store located in the Strip District of Pittsburgh, PA. I have been in sports nutrition and retail management for almost 7 years. I decided last year I was ready to return to and pursue my passion of becoming an Interpretive Environmental Educator/Park Ranger and started the Environmental Education master's program at SRU. Within these last 4 courses, I have learned SO MUCH. I am excited in the journey to pivot career pathways.

My dream is to become the "Hawk Lady", aka the educator/park ranger who goes to your local elementary school and teaches students about local flora and fauna, climate change, natural resources, and the impact of humans. I believe that everyone should have access to the natural world.

I hope this gives insight to who I am. If you have any questions or want to connect further let me know. Looking forward to learning with you all.

-Beth
