Our mission is to provide opportunities for students of all ages to explore, learn about and develop appreciation and stewardship for our natural world. We are a private, non-profit nature center established in 1997. We offer programs at our center in Logan Canyon, our Nibley property, Cache Valley

I grew up on the beaches of the Outer Banks, and now reside in Wilmington after graduating from UNCW in May 2021. I am a service member for the Conservation Trust for North Carolina currently working at Coastal Land Trust as an Environmental Educator and Volunteer Coordinator.

Dr. Hougham is faculty at the University of Wisconsin- Extension where he supports the delivery of a wide range of science education topics to K-12 students, graduate students, and in-service teachers. Justin’s scholarship is in the areas of place-based pedagogies, STEM education, and AL
