Georgia Wright (she/they) is RIEEA’s Communications Manager. She a writer, organizer, and audio producer based in Providence, RI. Georgia’s opinion and culture writing can be found in The Guardian, Atmos, and The Indy; the youth climate podcast she co-created, Inherited (a production of YR Media and Critical Frequency) has been critically acclaimed by outlets such as the New York Times, NPR, Vulture, CBS This Morning, and New Scientist. Her work has won a Signal Award, a Casey Shearer Memorial Award, and a Merlyn’s Pen Climate Grant, among other honors.

I am currently working part time at the GSTC greeting and sharing information about our purpose at the center to the guests that visit the center form all over the world.  

I have always been an outdoor enthusiast, and now love to share that interest with my son. I have worked in several nonformal education settings in various roles from interpretative park ranger to residential camp manager. I am now the CA Affiliate's Board President & Chair.

I'm Jennifer, locally known as the "Mobile Mermaid" due to my passion for the water. My background is very diverse with expertise in therapy, networking, volunteerism, community advocacy, youth coordinator, river enthusiast, and swimming instructor/ lifeguard which helps me to be an Environmentalist.
