Dana Packer

I am certified 7-12 English teacher in the state of Connecticut and work in the Grants and Special Programs department at EdAdvance helping to serve 31 public school districts as well as the larger community in Northwest Connecticut.  I am a proud mom and have a love for Classic English Literature.

Denby is a cultural practitioner, educator, and artist who lives in upcountry Maui with her two children. Born and raised on Oʻahu, Denby graduated from Punahou School and earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington, as well as a Master’s degree in Education at Heritage College, Washington. 

I have worked in the fields of EE, STEM, and Wilderness education in diverse capacities. My professional interest lie in the design and practice of anti-oppressive place-based education.
