I've been an environmental advocate ever since I can remember. I fell in love with nature when I was in girl scouts at a young age and my love and advocacy has continued to grow since. - Over 20 years of experience promoting arts in education, teaching, creating, reviving K-12 acting programs for professional theater companies, such as Southern Rep Theater, Playmakers of Baton Rouge, Theater Reaching Young People and School (TRYPS) and Drama Kids International
- Revived a K-12th grade Theater Program with a middle and upper school focus on performing arts discovery course and a lower school focus that met twice a week, both programs culminating with a full musical 2024-2025
- Created a K-5 Theater Program at Langtree Charter Academy, classes met twice a week, culminating in a full musical 2022-2023
- Experienced in teaching STEAM to K-5 NC Essential Science Standards, where students participated in hands-on experiments, projects and outdoor learning.

- Created a K-2 Invention Convention in partnership with National Inventors Hall of Fame that provided students the opportunity to create an invention or game and present it to their class and school

- Teacher/AD for TRYPS (Theater, Reaching Young People and Schools) for K-12 students in Columbia, MO 2004-2006
- Led the 3-5th grades UNC Science and Engineering Fair and created a STEAM Project, providing students an opportunity to experience the entire scientific method and present their projects to their classes and school.
