Engaging Nature

I firmly believe there is an untapped and incredible power residing at the intersection of the human mind and heart with the ability of the natural world to free us from the confines of our constructed, workaday lives and allow us to simply be alive—and be enough and equal to all others in that space. This belief has spurred me to transition out of the technology sphere to refocus my talents, skills and drive toward the development and promotion of sustainable, nature-based solutions and spaces that all people can benefit from and participate in.

Prioritizing Nature & Reclaiming Ourselves

Nature deserves to be valued and prioritized, not only for the sake of protecting the beauty and diversity of the living world on earth, but as a fundamental principle of public health with the potential for expanding promise in our own lives and communities.

In today’s world, many of us are constantly buffeted by an overwhelming stream of misleading, destabilizing messaging and hardhearted power jockeying aimed at controlling the daily experience of our lived realities and the shape of our essential hopes and dreams. The foundational grounding and self-reflection the natural world has the potential to animate in us, may provide a critical counter-response to the current debilitative narrative, manifesting benefits to our individual and collective health and well-being in the form of fundamental self-worthiness and communal equality, leading to strength in common cause.

Rebuilding Trust, Sharing Knowledge & Building Momentum

The fastest way to bring about positive results is to engage as many of our family members, friends, colleagues, neighbors, communities and businesses in ways that are meaningful to them through simple, ecofriendly tasks and behavioral changes they can implement in their daily lives and workplaces and by facilitating uplifting personal experiences gained through interaction with the natural world that are easily accessible and affordable to a majority of households. Each incremental change made, each new experience that unfolds, compounds the impact made, increasing our collective momentum toward a more sustainable, healthful and joyful way of living together.
