My primary goal as an environmental educator is to foster a sense of place in students of any age. I am passionate about the emotions a physical space can evoke and work hard to demonstrate the hope that comes from caring for the environment.  Nature journaling, sensory walks, and hands-on exploration are some of my favorite tactis to use when teaching outdoors.

My environmental education journey as the summer environmental education instructor at Montreat Camp and Conference Center in North Carolina throughout college. Upon graduating, I joined the Chesapeake Conservation Corps where I was placed as an Environmental Science Educator with the Maryland Coastal Bays Program (MCBP). I spent 4 years with MCBP growing professionally and personally. I recently relocated to Bozeman, MT to take a position as the Camp Director for Rockhaven Camp and Retreat Center. I am also actively completing my graduate degree in Science Education from Montana State University.
