The Goldman Environmental Foundation is excited to share a new resource designed to empower and inspire the next generation of environmental leaders: the Goldman Environmental Prize Teacher Video Guide, created specifically for teachers of students in grades 8–12.

This free, easy-to-use guide is built around 4–5 minute films highlighting the incredible stories of grassroots environmental activists from around the world—recipients of the prestigious Goldman Environmental Prize. Students can explore the captivating video profiles of each Prize recipient to deepen their understanding of environmental issues as well as leadership skills. These resources are invaluable for middle and high school students across various disciplines, including science, social studies, and English Language Arts (ELA).

Whether as part of a classroom experience, club activity, or community event, the guide provides a flexible and powerful way to spark dialogue, critical thinking, and environmental stewardship among young people.

While you would know your organization best, we believe these videos could be a valuable resource for your “Climate Education Policy Toolkit” as you will find national environmental leaders that can inspire students across the nation.
