Students can often feel powerless in the face of environmental crises, but there is tremendous potential for young people to make a difference.

Start the school year empowered by tuning in to learn tangible ways for your students to help the planet. At this talk, Ryan Zlatanova, Activism & Outreach Specialist at WWF, will talk about why youth voices are so important and will be joined by Reid Chapman, a current high school student who has been advocating for nature since he was a child.

Conservation in the Classroom is a free livestream series that connects young students with conservation experts and scientists. Through each 45-minute virtual event, students can watch live as the presenters share their experiences and answer questions submitted throughout. 

Educators can register to receive event reminders and indicate how they’d like to participate (as a viewer off-screen or as a featured group selected to join us on camera). 

In this first event of the new school year, WWF activism specialist, Ryan Zlatanova, and young activist, Reid Chapman, will teach students about ways they can take action and demand change for their future.
