EarthEcho International’s 2026 Ocean Protection Ambassador Program (Apply by April 29)
Apply by April 29, 2026
Applications are open for EarthEcho International’s 2026 Ocean Protection Ambassador program to young people ages 17-22 from key regions across the United States. This paid opportunity will equip six young leaders to design and lead campaigns focused on building support for regional marine protected areas while defending key ocean protections and environmental laws in the United States.
Ambassadors receive campaign planning training, mentorship from ocean policy experts, and implementation funding to launch impactful advocacy campaigns in their communities. In addition, the 2026 cohort will join EarthEcho staff and peers for an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., to participate in Capitol Hill Ocean Week and Upwell for an in-person advocacy experience.
Applications are open through April 29 to youth ages 17-22 based in American Samoa, Alaska, California, Georgia, Hawai’i, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, or South Carolina, and complete details can be found at: https://www.earthecho.org/ocean-protection-ambassadors.
