Spring Bird ID
Join Becky Skiba of the NC Wildlife Resources Commission on a hike through River Park North to observe birds migrating in for the breeding season. We will discover warblers, residents, and other migrants as they forage and flirt in the mixed habitat types. Brush up on your bird calls and ID skills on this leisurely stroll after a brief introduction in the classroom. All resources and materials are free. This is a FREE workshop hosted by River Park North.
I will have binoculars to borrow, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please bring some water, wear closed-toed shoes, and sun protection. We will bird in a drizzle, but will cancel in a downpour.
Participants are eligible for Criteria II credit of NC OEE Environmental Education Certification and school teachers receive CEU credit.
