Ph.D. Candidate in Environmental Planning and Master of Environmental Education. Researcher in the field of Environmental Education and Sustainable Behavior Change.

As an environmental educator, I am passionate about getting people outside to find community and wonder in our natural world. 

I am the national evaluator for NOAA's B-WET program. Formerly, I was a professor of environmental and science education (12 yrs), a federal national program manager (8 yrs), and a marine biologist. I have researched science curriculum design, taught education theory, and was a field-based environmental educator.

I am currently an AmeriCorps member serving with the Environmental Education Leadership Corps in Kentucky. I serve at the Louisville Nature Center where we provide educational programming for kids and adults of all ages with our forest preschool, summer camps, field trips, outreach, and guided hikes. 

Hello!  I have been an Experiential Environmental Educator for 25 years, have written curriculum for organizations throughout the country for non-profit and for-profit organizations.  I worked my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction alongside teachers from actoss the country to gain their perspective.  I love to share information and mentor.
