My name is Quincey Moffitt, I am born and raised in the Greensboro North Carolina. I consider myself a hard worker and dedicated to the things and people I love. I enjoy spending time with my wife and both my family and hers and as well as our dog. I am environmentally inclined and spent my four years of education in college studying Agriculture and Environmental Studies with a concentration in Waste Management and Horticulture. Agriculture has always been a passion of mine and will forever be a practice and life-style that has shaped my life and upbringing.
Dr. Syma A. Ebbin is a Professor-in-Residence at the University of Connecticut, Interim Director of the Maritime Studies Program and the Research Coordinator for Connecticut Sea Grant. Affiliated with the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Maritime Studies Program, she teaches courses in environmental and marine science and policy at the UConn Avery Point campus.

My name is Samantha Shuster and this is my fifth year of teaching. I currently teach 7th grade science in Catawba County, NC. I have always had a passion for our natural world and sustainability. This passion along with my dedication to learning and teaching young minds has lead me to NAAEE. My goal is to become a better steward of our environment by developing the knowledge and skills to teach the next generation better conservation practices for a more sustainable future.
I am the Schools in Parks Specialist for Pilot Mountain State Park, and work to make field trips possible here at the park! I offer teacher trainings, outreach visits, and curricilum tailored programs to help every visit to the park a memorable one where we leave have learned something new and experienced something amazing!
I contribute to participatory R+D and continuous improvemement process focused on environmental stewardship, justice, and advocacy learning opportunities.
