I am a PhD educated scientist that made the career shift to teaching high school 13 years ago. I currently teach in Frederick County, Maryland. 

I'm a climate change environmental educator. As a freelancer I'm is focused on climate change, public lands, interdisciplinary watershed studies, geography, and teaching and learning through my gig, Wild Rose Education. I design and facilitate educator professional development workshops, public lands courses, Arctic STEM programs, and a multi-state regional climate change educator cohort. I have created and facilitated numerous environmental education programs including the award winning Youth Water Leadership Program, and Project Learning Tree Canada's Climate Change and Forests curriculum. 

My expertise includes best practices in watershed and climate change education, adult learning and facilitation, and interpretation. I'm a past board president for Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education, am a member of the NAAEE Guidelines Trainers' Bureau, an Environmental Issues Forums deliberation moderator, Certified Interpretive Guide, Certified Interpretive Trainer, Colorado Certified Master Environmental Educator, Land Ethic Leader, Leave No Trace Level 2 Instructor, Climate Reality Leader, and Wilderness First Responder. Sarah is currently based in western Colorado Colorado.

As Program Coordinator for Community Engagement and Research Translation at the Duke Superfund Research Center, I facilitate bi-directional communication, education, and engagement between Duke researchers and stakeholders. I have a Master's in Public Health (MPH) and a background in food systems.

I am an experienced conservation educator and outreach specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the zoological industry. My skills include public speaking, fundraising, data collection, and community engagement. I am an engaging professional with a Bachelors of Science focused in Zoo and Conservation Science and Biology from Otterbein University and an MS in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Conservation Psychology from Antioch University. My interests and experiences involve creating and implementing impactful conservation programs through logic model devleopment and evaluation criteria.

My name is Jenyn, and I'm a NC State Park Ranger at Yellow Mountain State Natural Area. I grew up in the foothills of WNC in a small town called Lenoir. After college, I moved to the Pacific Northwest in Washington for several years where I worked in various education and admin roles at Pacific Science Center. Part of that phase of my career was working as a naturalist in an urban park featuring a wetland and delightful waterway, the Mercer Slough. My husband and I moved back out to Burke county at the end of 2021 where we now have an aspiring homestead with 2 German Shepherds, 4 barn cats, 9 chickens, an ever increasing population of domestic rabbits...and a former PacSci celebrity corn snake.
