Chloe is a young professional passionate about empowering young people through environmental education. She is especially interested in the intersection of the humanities and environmental topics. Currently, Chloe is completing a service term with the California Climate Action Corps at the San Francisco Environment Department. She works on the Environmental Education team to provide zero waste and water conservation programming to K-12 students in San Francisco. She is also a core member of the planning comittee for the 2nd annual San Francisco Climate Action Youth Summit. Chloe is working to start a Climate Action Book Club for middle and high school students, in partnership with SFUSD in school libraries, and the SF Public Library.
Before this position, Chloe was the Program Manager of Sprout Up, an environmental education nonprofit that provides free lessons on science, nature, and environmental stewardship to 1st and 2nd grade classrooms in the Santa Barbara area.
