The San Francisco Waldorf School was founded in 1979 and serves more than 400 students across a parent-child program, a Preschool program, Kindergarten, and the First through Twelfth grades. Our grade school campus (Preschool through Eighth grade) is in the Pacific Heights neighborhood and is easily accessible via Muni lines.

I am an interdisciplinary environmental social scientist and I work primarily in human-animal studies, environmental education, and sustainable food systems.

Yulissa joined Ventana Wildlife Society in the Fall of 2020 as an intern for our Education and Outreach Program and later moved into her role as an instructor and bi-lingual educator. In August 2021, Yulissa joined VWS full-time as Youth and Family program coordinator - since then Yulissa has been working on Nature Prescription programming including family camping trips, single-day adventures, and nature classes. Yulissa is excited to work with the community and bring the benefits of nature to others. 

Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit, accredited school dedicated to fostering awareness, enhancing respect, and promoting personal responsibility for the natural world through inspiring environmental education experiences.

The Ashokan Center's mission is to inspire learning and build community through shared experiences in nature, history, music, and art.

With over a decade of experience in conservation and more than seven years in environmental education, I am passionate about connecting communities with nature. I specialize in organizing community events, teaching K-12th grade students, and providing outreach support to local residents. Holding a master's degree in natural resources and outdoor education, I strive to inspire environmental stewardship through hands-on learning and engagement.

I am a 23 year old student going to CPCC for an associates in biology. My mom acutally completed this certification and recommended it to me. I have one cat named Pumpkin, she is a tuxedo cat, but would love to have a dog in the future as well.
