Hi! I am Jessica Anderson. I am a high school biology teacher in Orange, CA. I love being in nature and want to preserve it for future generations. My goal is to open students eyes to the amzing flora and fauana right outside our door. I want them to experience nature and thus connect with it.
I work as an interpretive park guide on an extraordinary mountaintop island called Grandfather Mountain in NC. I call it my classroom without walls. I am inspired daily by the amazing mountain natural resources, and I strive to help our visitors make personal connections with these resources so they come to value and desire to protect and conserve them for future generations.
I have a passion for promoting nature and science-based education to students. I earned my Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in Social Emotional Learning and have the honor to serve the Clemmie Gill School of Science and Conservation (SCICON) in supporting environmental ethics and education in the Central Valley of California.
Annette is a doctoral candidate in the Learning Literacies and Technologies program at Arizona State University. Her research centers on building student and teacher wellbeing in PreK-12 schools through experiential, hands-on learning in outdoor classrooms and explores how connections and strengthened relationships between the natural world, students and teachers can support wellbeing and growth for all three.
My name is Anna and I am a 2nd year student at Colorado State University, studying Natural Resources Management. My favorite jobs I've had have been working as a camp counselor at a nature park, as well as building trails with the Conservation Corps. I enjoy anything outdoors and I love being able to share that with people.
