I am currently launching my second nonprofit that is focused on expanding access to nature-based early education. We are located in Boston and provide nature preschool, forest days for public schools, and consulting services to educators interested in launching nature-based early ed programs in the USA or abroad. I'd love to connect!
Self-motivated, adaptable leader and collaborator experienced in project design and management, outreach and engagement strategies, creating collaborative learning environments, and partnership development. Strong interest in human-environment relationships, landscape-scale conservation, and environmental design.
After a BS in Enviro Sci at Juniata College (PA), I discovered a love of education while serving in AmeriCorps. I got my MAEE from Goshen College in 2012 (highly recommend!) I now connect college students and our neighbors to nature at the Calvin University Eco Preserve. Also, I love canoeing :)
I am a native North Carolinian, mother to a determined UGA student, and married to my best friend. I spent several years in television news and in the public education classroom before finding my niche in environmental education only recently. Until a move last fall, I worked as an education with a environmental center in metro Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy photography, traveling, cooking, my dogs, and spending time with my elderly mother, who now lives with me.
A Champion of Environment conservation through education and implementation of climate change mitigation programs through collaboration and strengthening partnerships for a safe, greener and healthy mother Earth.
