As Chief Development and Partnerships Officer at the Educated Choices Program, I help to ensure our continued success. By creating a sustainable and diverse funding portfolio and by forming strategic partnerships, I pave the way for growth and increased impact. I also assist with the growth and development of the ECP team in daily operations.

In addition to serving ECP in my CDPO role, I also serve as a member of our ARDI (Anti-racism, Diversity and Inclusion) Committee with the mission of cultivating an anti-racist and inclusive work environment: thinking critically about our own standards, policies, and practices, making choices that rely on and celebrate a diversity of perspectives, and maintaining an active role in creating a just and equitable work culture for all staff.

The Educated Choices Program is an experienced academic non-profit that creates and disseminates free educational resources to secondary and post-secondary schools worldwide; discussing the impacts of our food system on human and planetary health. We have reached over 3.3 million students ages 12+ with life-changing scientific food literacy programs. Our education packages contain digital videos and supporting materials, including quizzes, lesson plans, discussion prompts and activities in three languages. We discuss the impacts of our food system through many lenses, such as disease prevention, environmental struggles, societal impacts, and new food technology. Our work has been acknowledged for its resulting reduction of greenhouse gas emissions due to positive behavioral change by the Global Warming Mitigation Project and the most recent International Conference on Climate Change at the University of BC in Vancouver. We have also been acknowledged for the health benefits of our work by organizations such as Doctors for Nutrition. We hold a 50% proven efficacy rate in inspiring sustainable and healthful dietary changes with our participants!
