Retired from Sammamish Plateau Water in 2023 after 24 years as a Planning and Outreach Coordinator. Also worked 10 years at the City of Redmond, WA as a Parks Maintenance Technician.

A highly motivated chemist with a terrific interest in environmental chemistry. I am actively building up my research and analytical skills to meet world and professional standards. Likewise, I am a great team player and a science writer with excellent communication and technical skills.

Darcy joined the Narragansett Bay Estuary Program (NBEP), headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, as the Watershed Outreach Manager in 2022. 

I am an Associate Member of The Institute for Earth Education. I worked in the field of outdoor learning for over 35 years. I now volunteer for a number of NGO's that focus on the importance of protecting natural places, life support systems and all of the wild creatures that share the planet with us. 

 

I am an informal science educator in Los Angeles California. I teach K-12 full time at the California Science Center, and I also serve as the Confirmation Coordinator at my local parish. I just returned from the South Pole doing educational and outreach activities about Antarctica with the IceCube Neutrino Observatory! I am a member of Interfaith America and I write for the Interfaith America Magazine about the intersectionality of faith and science.In my free time I like SCUBA diving, skiing, swing dancing, and anything outdoors!
