Green Ummah aims to empower Canadian Muslims to create just solutions for environmental problems. Green Ummah’s mission is to share intersectional knowledge about the environment and environmental issues, to build capacity for Muslim leadership in the environmental movement and to share tools for Muslims to engage in solution-making for environmental problems. We leverage our strong partnerships with academia, community groups and leaders in the environmental and nature sectors to develop creative programming curated specifically for different demographic groups in Canada’s Muslim community.

After a BS in Enviro Sci at Juniata College (PA), I discovered a love of education while serving in AmeriCorps. I got my MAEE from Goshen College in 2012 (highly recommend!) I now connect college students and our neighbors to nature at the Calvin University Eco Preserve. Also, I love canoeing :)

There is a proto saying that there is no losing streak for the strong team and no losing streak for the weak team. This means that strong teams can change bad flows, while weak teams can't keep up with good flows. 먹튀검증">먹튀검증

I am a native North Carolinian, mother to a determined UGA student, and married to my best friend.  I spent several years in television news and in the public education classroom before finding my niche in environmental education only recently.  Until a move last fall, I worked as an education with a environmental center in metro Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy photography, traveling, cooking, my dogs, and spending time with my elderly  mother, who now lives with me.
