I am Monica Odhiambo Adhiambo, based in Kisumu, Kenya, with over four years of experience designing and leading community-centered programs for marginalized communities. As Director of Programs at the Riley Orton Foundation, I oversee innovative STEM mentorship initiatives that expand access to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for youth aged 9–18, while integrating STEM learning with environmental activities to create practical, community-driven solutions. My work strengthens STEM pathways by combining hands-on learning, digital literacy, coding, robotics, and emerging technologies such as AI with environmental sustainability initiatives. I am passionate about empowering young people to apply scientific thinking and technological tools to tackle local environmental challenges, enhance climate resilience, and promote sustainable development.
