Michèle Andrews is the Co-Founder and Executive Director at DoorNumberOne.org - a not-for-profit providing practical inspiration for the transition to a just, beautiful, and regenerated world. She is leading the Climate Action Accelerator Program with K-12 schools across Canada to help them create and implement bold, high-impact, hope-filled whole-school climate action plans. In this program students, operations leaders, faculty and administrators are working together on school teams and with their colleagues around the country to chart an accelerated climate-positive path for schools everywhere.

Michèle has had a long career in strategy, leadership and organizational development in the private and not-for-profit sectors. For 10 years, she was the lead administrator at the Toronto Waldorf School, a pre-K through Grade 12 independent school. She has a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and a Masters in Education with a focus on Adult Learning and Organizational Change from the University of Toronto/Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Michèle is a co-author of a chapter in an upcoming peer-reviewed book on Whole School Approaches to Sustainability in Schools.
She is a Living Future Accredited member of the International Living Future Institute and part of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project Leadership Corps. In her spare time, Michèle can be found leading community initiatives focused on resilience and climate action, or working the land on her 10 acre rural property in eastern Ontario.
