I am an environmental educator and activist, and a constant learner. I have experience with informal teaching techniques from my time at the Philadelphia Zoo as a Conservation Interpreter and animal handler in the Zoo-on-Wheels program where we brought ambassador animals to local schools. Academically, I have a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Temple University and a M.S. in Conservation Biology from the University of West Alabama, and I am planning to graduate this December from Miami University's Project Dragonfly program with a M.A. in Biology. Project Dragonfly's M.A. empowered me to engage with my local community more, and nowadays I dedicate time to volunteering and organizing with multiple groups across my hometown of Philadelphia.

I am interested in a myriad of disciplines related to conservation and environmental justice, because at the end of the day, I just want to be able to help improve the environmental and social welfare of my community and the world. As a young professional and person living in the year of 2023, I understand that the issues of climate change, oppression, and environmental exploitation are all related. For this reason, I love the terminology 'wicked problems' to describe such complex issues, and I believe that 'wicked solutions' are necessary to address them. For me, this means trying to find opportunities with companies that have similar missions and values, and I am confident that I can draw on my previous experience and desire for learning to adapt with, and provide for, my team.
