Born and raised in rural New Hampshire, I have lived, studied, and worked in Colorado and California for many years before finally returning back East to Arlington, VA, where I currently live. I have always loved nature and been passionate about the environment, and I learned from an early age that teaching was strength of mine and brought me great joy. Environmental education is the perfect marriage of these things, and is a vitally important piece of the climate movement and the work to protect our planet.

I have been working in environmental education in some capacity since 2015, most recently as a program coordinator with Explore Ecology in Santa Barbara, California, and before that as an educator and program coordinator with the Catamount Institute in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I am particularly passionate about waste management and waste reduction educaton, connecting students to their local ecosystems, and making the environmental education field a welcoming community and career path for everyone, especially those from marginalized communities.

When not teaching or managing a program, I enjoy spending time outside however I can, rock climbing, skiing, surfing or biking around town. I am currently seeking my next role in the DMV area and am open to any new connections in the region!
