I have worked in the environmental field for about 5 years. My career started at the NC State Parks. From the parks, I moved over to SWC. Soil and Water Conservation has given me many great opportunities. I can get my hands on and help local farmers. I can reach many different grade levels of kids through field days, FFA activities/contests, and one-off teaching days. My main areas of knowledge for this role are soil science and horticulture/agriculture; these are typically the subjects I am asked to teach in schools.
