Author Bio: Michael J. Caduto is the author of more two dozen books that have been published in numerous languages, have sold over 1.2 million copies worldwide, and have received numerous awards, including the NAPPA Gold Award, Reading is Fundamental (RIF) Multicultural Book Award, Aesop Prize, Skipping Stones Award, and Storytelling World Award. Illustrator Bio: Christina Wald is an illustrator, designer, educator, and author who has illustrated more than 70 picture books published around the world. Her notable projects include three books for the San Diego Zoo, including its official centennial children’s book, as well as titles created for the U.S. Forest Service, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the American Prairie Reserve, and Kew Gardens in London. Wald has taught illustration and narrative storytelling for more than a decade at Northern Kentucky University. She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband and three cats.
