Online Course for High Schoolers: Factivism & AI (June–August 2026)
June 30–August 30, 2027
High school students around the world are invited to join a growing movement at the intersection of climate action, fact-based advocacy, and artificial intelligence. The EcoAmbassadors: Factivism & AI online course brings together young leaders, educators, and changemakers to explore how we can harness credible information and emerging technologies to drive meaningful climate solutions.
Open to high school students globally and delivered virtually, the program is led by SDGs Today and the Center for Sustainable Development, Earth Institute. It blends sustainability education, digital literacy, and ethical technology, equipping students to evaluate information, analyze data, and identify misinformation through real-world case studies and digital storytelling.
At a time when misinformation and climate urgency intersect, this program focuses on:
- Building climate literacy grounded in facts
- Leveraging AI for sustainability and social impact
- Empowering participants to practice “factivism”—advocacy rooted in evidence and truth
Artificial intelligence is increasingly recognized as a powerful tool to accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals by enabling data-driven solutions and innovation across environmental, social, and economic systems.
This is more than a program—it’s a platform to learn, collaborate, and lead in shaping a more sustainable and informed future.
