Teachers and nonformal educators are invited back to the classroom with a new online professional learning opportunity from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Classroom called EnviroSchool.

The EnviroSchool webinar series allows educators to learn directly from EGLE staff about their areas of expertise and daily work to protect our environment.

The EnviroSchool learning series will take place monthly from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., beginning September 21. Each online session will include a presentation from EGLE’s program staff, plenty of time for Q&A, and curricular resources that educators can take back to their classrooms. Participants should come prepared to actively participate.

Registration for the first three sessions is open now on the EnviroSchool website.

All webinars will be recorded and posted to EGLE Classroom. Educators who attend online live will be eligible to receive 1.5 SCECHs. (SCECHs are not available for viewing recordings.)
