Tributaries of Life: A Watershed Inquiry

Offered in a partnership between Oregon State University and NorthBay, this is a Professional Development course for all academic disciplines, grades 6 through 12.

Participating teachers will increase their freshwater ecology knowledge and learn how to facilitate student-directed watershed inquiry with NorthBay’s renowned watershed field course — made available in an online format.

What You’ll Need:

  • Reliable internet
  • Access to a non-tidal stream or wadeable river
  • A journal

Two Sessions Offered (choose one):

  • March 4 – April 14, 2019
  • May 6 – June 16, 2019
     
  • $435 (+ $60 registration fee)
  • 6 weeks
  • 45 hours/16 PDUs
