Follow the action at the United Nations Climate Change conference through an online course offered by Hamline University and Climate Generation.

Learn about climate negotiations, watch livestreams from the COP27 conference in Egypt, and learn about climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies and solutions being developed worldwide.

This 2-credit online course offers undergraduate, graduate, or continuing education credit through Hamline University's certificate in climate literacy.

Policy experts from Climate Generation and partners will offer an introduction to climate science, justice, and policy with a focus on the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) and Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE). Learn how negotiations unfold at the annual UN Conference of the Parties (COP) in Egypt this year.

Course participants can expect readings and resources, livestreams, webinars, live Q+A with attendees at COP, and virtual meet-ups. The course runs from mid-October through the end of November.
