My name is Weiru Chang and I was born in Fujian Province, China. My family immigrated to America when I was 10. I earned my BS in Cell Biology from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign and my Ph.D. (cell, genetics, and developmental biology) from University of Washington and University of Minnesota. I have been a community college Biology Faculty for over 20 years at Minneapolis Community and Technical College and Estrella Mountain Community College.  I teach anatomy and physiology and general biology.

I am senior undergraduate at UNL majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife. I want to go into animal conservation, maybe even research, and enjoy learning about the ecosystem and ecology. 

Executive Director of the Missouri Environmental Education Association. A longtime youth gardening educator and outdoor education advocate, who believes that teaching systems thinking is key to tackling our myriad, complex, and intertwined environmental and social issues....and knows that environmental education is the perfect avenue for developing that kind of understanding!

New York City Region

Famous for its energy, culture, shops and tourist sites, New York City is also the home to many state parks. These open space jewels provide the perfect oasis in the city that never sleeps.

I am a shy person, and I like writing. I often write fictional stories. My plan for the future is to become an environmental journalist.

I am a student at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. I am double-majoring in Environmental Policy and History. I am taking a class on Environmental Education, and am looking forward to using my knowledge from the NAAEE Module in my capstone project, where I will be required to teach my class about an environmental issue/topic.
