I’m an environmental educator and interpretive naturalist with experience in nonprofits,  governments and now Nature Investigations, where I lead Nature Journaling classes and more to inspire deeper connections with the outdoors. I also offer workshops on how to create ethical guidelines for environmental educators on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). I also write Reflections from the Field, a newsletter for environmental educators that explores creative strategies for their work (fieldreflections.substack.com).

Many are misunderstanding the use of AI at a time when we need guideliens of if, when, and how to use it: my workshops for creating ethical guidelines for AI use in environmental education can be found on my website: www.natureinvestigations.com. Along with teaching workshops on AI and interpretive programs outdoors, I have created a podcast called "Nature of the Upstate." Each month, I discuss a different nature topic as I learn more about the natural history of the South Carolina upstate. Additionally, I have started a substack called "Reflections from the Field" which offers creative strategies on natural history interpretation and environmental education. You can find both here: fieldreflections.substack.com.
