Studying and teaching about humans and their place on the planet. Historically science education and place-based education in the Hudson River Valley, NY. Contributed to the Urban Environmental Education Book (Alex Russ, editor; Published by Cornell, NAAEE, and eeCapacity). Previous work: Classroom teaching in Red Hook and Chatham; Outdoor education at Wild Earth Wilderness School, Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, and San Mateo Outdoor Education. Currently with Kingston Land Trust doing conservation and stewardship work with education infused into our work with volunteers, land owners, and neighbors.
