I have been a high school teacher in kenyan schools for over 30 years.I have great passion for teaching climate change because currently it is not adquately taught and i believe it should be embedded in the school curriculum.I have previously established peace education and climate change projects to make students and teachers get sensitized on climate crisis and value of solving conflicts peacefully.I would like to work with groups and professionals who believe that time has come for all peoples to take action about climate change because we are at tipping point.I have skills and competencies like teaching and facilitation,training,project managemen6t,climate change education,peace education,monitoring and evaluation,guidance and counseling ,mentorship,.

I have been able to connect schools in UK and Denm,ark with our kenyan schoool to discuss and tackle climate change causes and impacts.I was able to make students realize that they hold the future and this was done through SKYPE and my passion .. have been teaching Geography and History subjects in lkenmyan secondary schools .I have Headed Departments of Guidance and Counseling for over 20 years.I was a National Examiner of History subject examination for Kenya National Examination Council for 7 years.I was instrumental in launching Peace Education Workshops on behalf of Teachers Without bORDERS iNTERNATIONAL AT nAKURU kENYA IN 2011 for both Secondaryb and Primary schools students,pupils and teachers.I was able to take the same message to students and teacheras in UK and Denmark for both global challenges of Climate change and peace education.In Kenya i worked in various NGOS to realize the vision and mission of introducing climate change education.
I briefly attended an Msc Climate Change and International Development at the Univerasirty of East Anglia in England.In June 2025 i succwssfully participated in Climate Realuity Training eld in Kenya by the Chairman of Climate Reality Project Al Gore -former US Vice President .I am now trained in climate change and i plan to work in climate change projects with like minded professional and groups from now onwards.
