Ways to Convey the Importance of Action!
On Sunday night, some 34 million people heard about the importance of Climate Change from Leonardo DiCaprio. He took the minute or so he had at the mic (when he accepted his Oscar for Best Actor) to say: "Climate change is real. It is happening right now. It's the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together..." In addition to the large audience, this message came with great sincerity from an iconic popular figure and, I have to believe, was heard by some who may not hear such messages in their daily lives.
I believe we need to take Mr. DiCaprio's message and amplify it. Here is the link to his whole statement:
