Make Climate Action Engaging, Relevant and Solvable

Picture children competing online with friends locally and globally, gaining knowledge and developing an understanding of nature, and making eco-friendly choices.

The League for Green Leaders program is a virtual competition that runs for two weeks. Children log in to the program daily and enjoy a collection of online and offline hands-on activities, such as measuring trees and making solar ovens.

Every day the provided activities are different, they vary from playing our award-winning iBiome games, tracking their carbon footprint, finishing real-world projects, to completing offline activities. Children are able to engage with building virtual habitats on wetlands, oceans, and the polar regions, as well as earning badges and points by finishing their daily activities. We’ve received countless feedback from the participants expressing how much they love tracking their daily choices regarding food, transportation, and recycling.

Through our competition participants can measure their CO2 impact and as their lifestyles become more sustainable, and their carbon footprint reduces, the children can witness the collective impact they are creating individually as well as with the other participants. Children are able to collaborate with their teammates, creating a healthy competition with their peers all around the world with everyone working towards making a healthier planet.
