Over the past four years, a total of 14 states have implemented at least 21 new laws focused on Environmental Justice. This resource is designed specifically for community advocates, attorneys, academics, and policymakers, offering a comprehensive overview of existing protections while also facilitating access to innovative models for environmental justice.

EnvironmentalJustice State by State is a collaborative effort spanning multiple years. It is led by Vermont Law and Graduate School's Environmental Justice Clinic and Center for Agriculture and Food Systems, The University of Texas School of Law, University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), the Tishman Environment and Design Center at The New School, American University Washington College of Law, Taproot Earth, and Lone Star Legal Aid.
