International Survey of Organizations Active in Climate Communication and Education

Please see the following opportunity to participate in the first international survey of organizations involved in climate communication and education:

Dear Colleagues,

I am Dr. Oren Pizmony-Levy, Associate Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. I am writing to invite you to participate in an important survey of climate communication and education organizations (CCEOs). The study is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, The Monitoring and Evaluating Climate Communication and Education (MECCE) Project, and the North American Association for Environmental Education.

The survey is located on the web. Follow this secured link to participate:
https://tccolumbia.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cJcTiQkdcutbaZ0

We ask that the survey be completed as fully as possible by the Director of the organization, or by the person most knowledgeable about your organization. The survey generally takes about 20 minutes. The information will be used to produce a report on the current state of CCEOs and their work (the report will be publicly available).

This is the first-ever international survey of organizations working in climate communication and education, and your participation is important. This study will help us understand the kind of work you do, the issues faced by organizations such as yours, and your perspective on climate communication and education.

All your answers will be kept completely confidential. The names and responses of individual organizations will not be revealed. In the final written report, to protect the anonymity of the subjects, the names as well as any other participants’ identifying characteristics will be changed or omitted.

If you have any questions about the questionnaire, you may contact Dr. Oren Pizmony-Levy, at op2183@tc.columbia.edu or +1-212-278-3180 or WhatsApp +1-812-219-0826. The study protocol number is 23-102.

Thank you for your time,

Oren
