Green Teacher Magazine invites educators and writers to contribute to North America’s premiere resource for formal and informal environmental educators.
Green Teacher is a quarterly publication that helps teachers, parents, and other educators build environmental and global awareness among young people from kindergarten through senior high school. Its articles range from perspective pieces (e.g. the role of environmental education or global education in the curriculum) to practical classroom-ready activities. Most articles are written by teachers or other educators working in the fields of environmental or global education. Green Teacher also welcomes contributions from freelance writers and environmental organizations.
The next few issues plan to focus on soil, water, and environmental justice. However, Green Teacher Magazine is open to any submissions that address environmental and global concerns. Climate change and climate adaptation articles are always welcome.
