In this hands-on Institute, participating teachers will: 

• Gain a greater understanding of the science and economics behind global issues affecting our planet.
• Apply EfS concepts including systems thinking, interdependence and community to instructional practice.
• Engage in hands-on learning activities that can be used with students.
• Create a curriculum makeover and develop a plan to integrate it within a scope and sequence.

Course fee is $395 for 3 days, plus $55 for optional 4th day. Participants eligible for graduate credit and in-service credit per district policy.
