Hello! I would like to hear your thoughts regarding: What does an ecologically sustainable life look like? How can we support the environment by nourishing ourselves? I believe that the ways we are currently meeting our needs---concrete cities, transportation, extraction, novel chemical usage, farming---have significant impacts on the environment. I wonder if we can observe and model how other organisms have integrated themselves into mutualistic relationships. I’ve studied and practiced small organic farming for 5 years, I eliminate fungal pathogens with my compost tea, and I’ve been teaching these methods to thousands of people through my fellowship with California Climate Action Corps. What else can we do, and can we possibly survive using those methods?
