Hi. As an environmental educator, researcher, curriculum designer and PhD candidate at SFU, BC, I'm exploring indigeneity & environmental education, social innovation for system change, interdisciplinary socio-ecological education in community and school-based learning.
I am an award-winning creator of interactive media that drives measurable, real-world change on environmental issues through the empowerment of children. For over 22 years I have created engaging media for elementary school students used in over 120 cities in Canada and the US.
Passionate about conserving a natural area, connecting people to nature and inspiring environmental stewardship through field experiences, camps, family programs, adult programs, and everyday conversations. I try to lead by example and encourage everyone on their own environmental journey.
I am a climate change and environmental science educator for the Suquamish Tribe in Washington State. My focus is environmental justice and the intersection of Western science and traditional ecological knowledge. I enjoy sharing nature through art with children.
