I currently work as Strategic Development Manager for the Aldo Leopold Nature Center and as Coordinator for Nature Net, a consortium of nature centers in south central Wisconsin. I serve as Board Chair to the Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education.

Sammy directs the Green Ambassadors Institute - a learning lab of Environmental Charter Schools (ECS) - to create engaging professional development for educators in Southern California and share best practices in environmental education, interdisciplinary learning and community engagement.
