6th grade science teacher at Conrad Weiser MS, Robesonia, PA.Part of our curriculum is taking students on a 5 day 4 night outdoor/environmental education experience in the Kittatinny Ridge north of our school. I am the director of that program.Personal likes:gardening,biking,running,walking.
Currently completing a double major in Economics and Environmental Science at the University of Toronto, I’ve chaired several environmental conferences and co-founded Our Poles Our Planet in 2016, a youth organization dedicated to ensuring the sustainability of the polar regions.
An opportunity to study abroad in New Zealand during college ignited my passion for cultural and natural resources which offer unique, place-based learning opportunities, and since then, I have served in various environmental education roles, from instructor to program coordinator.
I interned as an educator at the South Carolina Aquarium and ever since have followed my passion to be an environmental educator. From the National Aquarium and now back at the South Carolina Aquarium it has become my dream career! I am looking forward to becoming more involved in NAAEE.
