RACHEL BLACK started with GSF in 2014 as an intern, served as a FoodCorps Service Member, a senior Garden Educator, and is now the Programs Manager.
I am an Assistant Curator of Education at a small AZA accredited Zoo in Delaware and I have the best job! I teach on grounds, in outreach programs, and to Zoo volunteers of all ages and engage them to be conservationists! My passion is in teaching I love creating wonder when exploring nature!
I currently work in a nonprofit that plants and cares for trees where they are needed most. It is my hope that my work can lead to positive engagement with residents regarding the nexus between community health and environmental quality.
