Heather incorporated her experience as a biologist, a teacher, and her passion for nature to found Families in Nature in 2008. Since then, Heather has guided FiN’s growth into a 501c3 non-profit. She also works as a photographer (recently published in "Vitamin N" by Louv), and nature travel guide.

I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Environmental Education and Interpretation from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. I have a wide variety of experience in my field and I love what I do! I am currently looking to make some career moves and find a more permanent job.
